The proceeds will be largely used for its product development to enter SEA markets, including Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia, he added.<\/p>\n<p>Le noted the fundraising could close in the next few months, depending on discussions with the strategic investor.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the new funding will also go to M&amp;A as the firm seeks local acquisition opportunities. Potential targets are software startups with existing revenue streams and\/or proven track record in AI-powered automation or IoT (robotics) products, the founder said.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, 1Office announced a USD 3m fundraising from Redbadge Pacific \u2013 the APAC arm of US-based family office Redbadge, and several domestic investors.
